The SHIFT PROJECT 48V trim recessed housing is the structural element of the SHIFT modular system, designed for recessed installation in plasterboard with a visible finish (trim). Installation requires a 40 mm cut in the plasterboard. The product is available in black and white finishes, which can be selected via the variants.
The housing is installed once and allows for the quick and secure attachment of all compatible lighting fixtures in the SHIFT range, enabling the replacement or swapping of light sources over time without invasive interventions.
This component is non-illuminating and does not function autonomously; rather, it serves as the physical base of the system, onto which 48V DC powered light modules are connected via an external driver. Using the SHIFT housing allows for the creation of tidy, clean, and evolving lighting systems, ideal for residential, commercial, and professional environments.
The product is IP20 rated and is intended exclusively for indoor use. It does not include lighting fixtures or a power supply, which must be selected separately based on the system configuration.
