The SHIFT PROJECT 48V recessed housing in black finish is the structural element of the SHIFT modular system, designed for flush installation in plasterboard in a trimless configuration. Installation requires a 40 mm cutout in the plasterboard. The housing is installed only once and allows for the quick and secure attachment of all compatible lighting fixtures in the SHIFT range, enabling the replacement or change of light sources over time without invasive work.
This component is non-illuminated and does not function autonomously; rather, it represents the physical base of the system, onto which 48V DC powered light modules are connected via an external driver. Using the SHIFT housing allows for the creation of organized, clean, and evolving lighting systems, ideal for residential, commercial, and professional environments.
The product is rated IP20 and is intended exclusively for indoor use. It does not include lighting fixtures or a power supply unit, which must be selected separately based on the system configuration.
